David Brennan Education offers tailored tutoring services for children between the ages of 4 and 16.

Making learning fun and building confidence is the cornerstone of our approach to teaching and we aim to give our pupils the best possible chance to achieve their full potential.

Creating a love of learning, combining enjoyment and a wide variety of activities including problem solving and reasoning, support laying the foundations of an indepth understanding.  We offer a bespoke and personal service that is right for your child, matches their needs and ambitions and is delivered in a tailored way that complements their learning style. Instilling the belief that making mistakes is a part of the learning journey and ensuring that learning is fun is central to our approach.

As of April 2024, David Brennan Education has:

Tutored individual and groups of pupils through the Independent School 11+ process. This has covered Maths, English, Verbal-Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Exam technique. This has resulted in pupils being offered places at schools including Eton, Winchester, Radnor, St Pauls’ Girls, Wycombe Abbey (including 2 x Academic Scholarships), City of London Girls, South Hampstead, Godolphin and Latymer, Francis Holland and Hampton. All parents are available as Referees.

– Run 4 highly successful holiday camps

– Run a Summer Catch-Up Curriculum for children whose learning had been disrupted by the Covid pandemic and resulting lockdown.

Our tutors are currently working with children between the ages of 4 and 16

Reception to Year 4

Children are exploring age specific Maths concepts and strategies, while developing a deeper understanding of the areas of Maths studied in school.

Year 5 and Year 6

Pupils are on bespoke education plans in Maths, English, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning, as well as attending 11+ Exam groups working towards entrance exams to a range of schools including St Paul's, Godolphin and Latymer, Francis Holland, Kingston Grammar and Wycombe Abbey.

Key Stage 3

Pupils receive support to reinforce new concepts in English and Maths and to add greater depth to their understanding.

GCSE

Students receive support to reinforce new concepts in English and Maths and to add greater depth to their understanding.
